I'm Pam Gillette, owner of Petsitz In Home Pet Care.  It's my heartfelt mission to provide excellent, dependable, and personalized service to you and your pets, giving them the tender, loving care they're accustomed to receiving.  Extra petting, kisses, and tummy rubs are a significant part of the service we provide!

Originally established in 2002, the Petsitz vision has always been to provide a service to enable pet owners to confidently travel for business or pleasure without having to worry about their precious furry, feathered, and finned family members.

What makes me a special pet sitter for your precious pet?  I love and care for each pet as if it is my own.  Since my childhood with its many happy times spent on my grandfather's farm surrounded by cats, dogs, and a host of other creatures, animals have always been an important part of my life.  As an adult, I have shared my life with four cats, a fish, and five dogs, though not all at once!  Today, two cats and a dog make for a full, happy home along with a husband and two young children.  I know firsthand how much joy our pets bring into our lives, and in return how important it is to give your pet the love it so richly deserves
     
In addition to having experience with animals, I have been an educator with Brevard Public Schools for twenty years as a district administrator, elementary school principal, assistant principal, and teacher.  I have proven myself to be conscientious, reliable, and someone that others can depend on, which are very important qualities for a pet sitter to have!  As a principal, I established a barn/farm area for hands on learning experiences for the children and also initiated a pet of the day program where pets from the homes of children spent the day in the front office for others to see and learn about. Sugar gliders, iguanas, turtles, hamsters, and rats were frequent visitors and as you can imagine, created quite a fun and lively front office environment!
